ARGUMENTS ESSAY

Nowadays the internet is distributed to every single house in the UAE like a cancer when it’s distributed to the human body. There are many websites some of them good and the others are bad. In this essay I’m going to discuss the pros and cons of media control in the UAE.
There are several arguments in favor of UAE Etisalat blocking internet access to bad websites .The first argument is that to save our people from accessing the bad websites. This kind of blocking internet access is important so that they will be interested in the good websites. They also argue that the good points can help the people to focus on the good website where there is knowledge for their career.
However, there are many far more convincing arguments against blocking internet access to websites. The first point is that the people can know more details about all companies around the world. Also, this will expand their studying knowledge from here without travelling. This will help us to have more intelligent and open-minded people .Finally, this will also tell us know more information about all countries’ laws around the world.
In conclusion, blocking internet access and open media both have advantages .I think that is the open media is better than blocking the internet access because this will help our population to have the best knowledge in the future.

Argument essay

Nowadays, all colleges in our country using tests to assess students, but some of them are using the new styles of assessment by teacher assessment. We have both ways in some subject. Some students agree that examinations are an unfair way of assessment and should not be used at the HCT. In this essay, I will discuss whether or not exams should be used for assessment. In this essay I am going to discuss whether examinations are useful in the HCT or not and why.

Yearly many new students Register to HCT to study and during the semester there are many exams to know if the students understand their courses, and to assess them at the end of the term. I think the exams are important to follow up the student and assess them; also these exams help them to know their area of weakness and fix it. These exams help student as well to keep studying well and work hard. The HCT is open more than twenty years and the way of assessing students has been the examination. As we know, sciences develop in every second. I think the way of studying in the HCT also must develop faster than what’s happenings now. The exams are still not enough to know if the students are ready for the labor market and what is needed in the labor markets in the UAE. The management of the HCT must study the needs of the labor markets in the UAE and what are the areas of weakness of the study in the HCT to improve it. Exams are a good way but maybe the best way to know if the students are ready for work. There are many better ways than exams, one example of these ways is to make an interview with the students or let the student go to work for two to three weeks as a trainee. There are many ways to be used by the HCT management.

In conclusion, there are strong arguments both for and against banning exams. I believe the points in favor of using examinations are stronger than those against.

The number of U. S. farms and all farm workers

This chart illustrates the number of U. S. farms and all farm workers between1910 – 2000. We can see the trends are steadily declining.

First, the best time was at the beginning of the century from 1910 to 1935, the farms were around 13,800,000 farm and the farm workers were about 6,250,000 workers. In the next decade there was a slight decline in the trend, in 1950 the farms fall to 10,000,000 farms and the farm workers were reduced to less than six million workers. But in the next two years there was a sharp decline in the both farms and farm workers, the farms were fall to less than four and a half million and the farm workers were around half, about 3 million farm workers. In 1970 the fall did not stop and the number of farms and farm workers were close to gather. The farms were fall to around three million and the farm workers were about 2 million, this means some farms had only one to two workers

In conclusion, both farms and farm worker numbers decreased from 1910 to 2000 and level off after 1980.i think this big problem is not effect US only but all countries over the world are suffering because the food will reduce and the price will increase so some people cannot buy the food to live.

Changes in Milk Consumption in USA (1950 – 2000)

The graph compares annual consumption of low fat and whole milk in liters per person in the second half of the 20th century in USA. Overall, Americans drink much less milk now than at the start of the period.

The biggest change was the dramatic drop in total milk consumption. It fell from about 130 liters per person in 1950 to only around 90 liters five decades later. The second major was in the type of milk drunk. At the beginning, whole milk was more popular at 120 liters, but it fell sharply to about a quarter that by 2000. In contrast, the amount of low fat milk consumed shot up. It rose from roughly 10 liters in 1950 to five times that in 1980, when consumption was almost tied with whole milk.

In conclusion, the American diet with regard to dairy changes significantly over the time represented. Total consumption decreases but low-fat finally outranks whole milk.

Animal Testing

Have you ever considered the fact that every year millions of animals undergo painful death as a result of scientific research? While most people think animal testing is necessary, others are upset by what they see as needless suffering. This essay outlines some of the arguments for and against animal testing.

First, let’s look at the advantages. One very positive point is that many medical treatments and procedures have been developed from such experiments. Since animals share many features with humans, scientists use animals to test the safety and effectiveness of newly developed drugs. Moreover, there is a large supply of animals. Some, such as mice and rats, have many babies, and there is no danger of extinction for these species. Finally some advocates think that animals are less valuable than people. If there is a mistake, it will not cost a human life.

However there are also a number of arguments against animal testing. Perhaps the most important is that animals may be suffering unnecessarily. Critics do not believe that every new drug needs to be tested on animals. Furthermore, some feel animal testing is ineffective; they point out that many drugs still have to be withdrawn from the market despite extensive testing. Last, some campaigners would like to see alternative used. They feel more humane testing is possible and, too, that we could rely more on organ donors.

To conclude, we need to ensure that animals used for experimental purposes do not suffer much pain. Although some animal testing may be unavoidable at present, treating our fellow creatures mercifully will demonstrate our humanity.

In coach the miles 54 thousand, but in 2005 it’s more than double of the number of miles to 124 thousand and the Trains in 1990 were about 289,000 miles and in 2005 the number was 366,000 miles. The four table cities

In this table provides six categories of information for three nice places: Scotland, England, and Wales. In this essay I'm going to write about the few seminaries characteristics of these areas.

First is the population of Scotland has 5,5 million people while Wales is not far behind with 2,6 million. Second England has more than all. England is also the leader in terms of land area. It encompasses over 130,00 sq. miles, almost longer than Scotland and almost doubles Wales. Then as we can see the language of all of them speak English where as in Scotland people speaks Gaelic also and in Wales people speaks Welsh with English. On the other hand the terrain of Scotland and Wales share a mountainous terrain while England is mainly flat and the best thing is that all cities have same climate, cool and wet. The economy of England and Wales share manufacturing only but Scotland has too much oil production. Finally, the three cities have different export.

In conclusion, none of the countries has much in common. Nevertheless, we have some similar between them.

public transport expenditures for British commuters

This bar chart illustrates how many pounds sterling five age groups in Britain spent weekly on three forms of public transport in 2003.Overall, the older people get, the less they spend.
First, the youngest, those under 30, spent about 6.3 pounds per week on taxis. The group age 3o – 50 spent almost as much and those 50 – 65 marginally less, around 5.9 quid. In contrast, the 65 – year olds put out less than half that and the eldest group only about 1.5 pounds weekly. Turning to rail transport, again the youngest group allotted the most for this form of transport, nearly 4 pounds weekly. The two groups covering 30 – 65 years averaged approximately 2.2 while those over 65 spent, again, about half that. Finally, bus took the smallest proportion of the transportation budget, roughly 1.7 quid for people up to 65. The last two groups spent slightly more on bus than train.
